Papa Tony's was created in New Orleans during the pandemic, when our founder Tony Wilson and his wife used the lock down to grow closer as a family through cooking and experimenting with new dishes. One night while making Carne Asada tacos, Tony decided to make a homemade Garlic and Mango Habanero hot sauce. The final product was absolutely delicious and after posting the creation to social media, his followers began to inquire about purchasing the remaining bottles. They decided to take this as a sign and leaned into the idea and began bottling and selling the sauce at a rapid pace, selling over 300 bottles in the first month!
Now based in Western Washington, Papa Tony’s specializes in five gourmet blends, and two spicy dry rubs that are all made with locally sourced, fresh ingredients. From being featured in 16 weekly Farmers Markets to having their products on the shelves of over 50 stores including all 16 PCC locations, Papa Tony's is quickly growing into a household name.
Papa Tony's has been featured on Fox 13 Live, King 5 Evening, Seattle Refined and Seattle Met, and most recently was awarded the 2023 Emerging Business of the Year award by the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce.
What began as a creative experiment only two years ago has blossomed into a brand that has sold over 26,000 bottles nationwide!
